Micronutrient Testing (blood draw)
A specialty lab panel designed to functionally assess a patient's nutritional status by measuring levels of vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients.
The Standard American Diet (SAD) consists of over-processed foods lacking in the micronutrients and phytochemicals needed by the body to maintain optimal health and prevent chronic illness.
Micronutrient deficiencies can affect metabolism and lead to difficulty with immune function, weight loss and gain, hormonal balance and so much more.
Tested analytes are reported as follows:
Vitamins: Biotin, Delta tocotrienol, MK4, MK7, Pantothenic acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B9, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin K1
Minerals: Boron, Calcium, Chromium, Copper, Iodine, Iron, Lithium, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Selenium, Strontium, Vanadium, Zinc
Amino Acids: Arginine, Asparagine, Cysteine, Glycine, Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, L-Glutamine, L-Serine, L-Tyrosine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Taurine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine
Other Nutrients: Carnitine, Choline, Coenzyme Q10, Glutathione, Inositol, Lipoic Acid, Omega 3 DHA, Omega 3 EPA, Omega 9
Food Sensitivity Panel (blood draw)
This panel measures the sensitivity to 184 commonly consumed foods.
Being that food sensitivity reactions are delayed; it is more difficult to pinpoint what specific food is the cause of the clinical complaint. Testing aids in the identification of these problematic foods. Clinical complaints related to food sensitivities range from mild bloating to severe behavior problems.
Which Patients is the Food Sensitivity Panel best used for?
The root cause of a variety of health problems often stems from the foods we are consuming every day. These can also include foods that are considered healthy. Identifying these foods is a key step to symptom improvement.
